Around this time last year, we were super concerned about Derek Mason’s recruiting.
That doesn’t seem to be a concern this year.
Ben Bresnahan, a 6’4”, 225-pound tight end from West Forysth High School in Cumming, GA, became the Commodores’ fifth commitment in the 2018 class on Wednesday night. Bresnahan is rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals, ESPN, and 247 Sports, whose composite rating considers him the #38 tight end prospect in the country and the #97 prospect in the state of Georgia. Rivals has him as the #64 prospect in Georgia. Bresnahan also bears a striking resemblance to Nolan Cressler, which gives him bonus Vanderbilt points.
