As of press time (4:33pm CT), there is no word from the Beaver camp as to who will be starting tonight. However, I have to assume it will be RS Soph RHP Drew Rasmussen. Rasmussen has a lot of arm talent, but has only started 4 games this year, as he shook hands with Tommy John the year prior. Advantage Kyle Wright.

I will update you as soon as I know for sure (which will basically be right before first pitch, I assume).

If so... our pitching match-up is:

OSU RHP Drew Rasmussen (3-0, 0.83 ERA)

v.

VU RHP Kyle Wright (5-5, 2.98 ERA)

If not... well, that’s a whole ‘nother ball of wax. One I do not wish to have to discuss.

Pour Jobu his rum, put on your lucky t-shirt, and keep your best bourbon flowing all night. Bats, give us at least as much offense as last night, and that ought to do it with Wright on the mound.
