I greatly prefer college basketball’s scheduling to football’s. Instead of scheduling games ten years in advance, things are put together a few months ahead of time:
Arizona State and Vanderbilt will begin a home and home series this season, per a source. Starts at ASU. Game set for December 17th.

As of right now, Vanderbilt has three games scheduled next season to the best of our knowledge: return games against Belmont (away) and MTSU (home), and now a road trip to Arizona State that’s tentatively set for December 17. The Commodores will also participate in the NIT Season Tip-Off along with Rhode Island, Seton Hall, and Virginia, and they’ll probably have two assigned home games out of that as well. So that’s seven games out of probably thirteen total on the nonconference schedule.
As for Arizona State, the Sun Devils have gone 15-17 and 15-18 in two seasons under Bobby Hurley. I have no idea what their roster will look like next season, but the good news is that they’re a Pac-12 team, which means Bill Walton might decide to call the game. The bad news is you might not see it, because Pac-12 Network and everything.
Anyway, that’s about all we know for now.
