SEC Tournament Night 1 Live Thread

We know you’re watching this. Stop acting like you have better things to do.

NCAA Basketball: SEC Conference Tournament-Alabama vs Florida Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

The SEC Tournament opens on Wednesday night. Thankfully, Vanderbilt doesn't play tonight and also won’t be playing any of these teams tomorrow, but stop acting like you’re not watching this. We know you are.

All right, fine, you probably don't want to watch two zombie coaches (Johnny Jones and Kim Anderson) compete against Mississippi State and Auburn, respectively, but we’ve got hot bubble conference tournament action tonight that commands your attention.

At 6 PM, Wake Forest plays Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament. I think Wake is probably in either way (especially after Syracuse lost today) so it’s okay to root for Wake, because they’re basically Vanderbilt East. Also TCU faces Oklahoma in the Big 12 Tournament and while TCU’s bubble hopes are slim, an Oklahoma win would reduce them to zero.

At 6:30, Bucknell faces Lehigh for the Patriot League title, which isn't really relevant to the bubble but at least if Bucknell wins that loss to the Bison in November was to an NCAA Tournament team.

At 8, Texas plays Texas Tech and you can just rehash what I said about TCU and Oklahoma. Also, Pitt plays Virginia in case you want to see a Kevin Stallings offense score like 35 points all game.

At 8:30, Xavier plays DePaul, and you should root for DePaul. Finally at 10:30, Washington looks to outdo the BEN SIMMONS LSU team by having the #1 overall draft pick and managing to not win ten games all season as they go against USC, who’s on the bubble. Also said top pick won't actually be playing in this game.

Oh whatever, you’re watching LSU-Mississippi State and Mizzou-Auburn and we all know it.
