Bryce Bailey Joins Vanderbilt

A Much Needed Addition to VU’s OL

NCAA Football: Tennessee at Vanderbilt
I couldn’t find a picture of Bryce I can use, so have dancing Mason instead.

Bryce Bailey, an OT from Newburgh, IN, has submitted his NLI and is officially anchored down at Vanderbilt. Bryce was highly sought after, with offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Purdue, Syracuse, Toledo, Bowling Green, Ball State, Miami (OH), Ohio and Western Michigan. Bryce is ranked by rivals as #55 at his position in the country, and #6 in state.

Bryce is a 6’5” 305-pound beast. He’s right on the edge of the ideal 300-320 range you want for an OT. Vanderbilt fans will remember this video of him from when he announced his commitment way back in June. But now I’ve got a fresh SENIOR YEAR highlight video for you!

At a 40-time of 5.5 and a shuttle run of 4.9, he’s a little slower than he looks, but he’s obviously very athletic. He’ll make an immediate impact in our edge blocking schemes. In the end, what matters is quickness more than speed and his fundamentals look solid.

Welcome to the Vanderbilt family Bryce!
