Game 7: Radford Highlanders at Vanderbilt Commodores -- Open GameThread

Vanderbilt looks to snap a three-game losing streak.

Well, this season hasn't gotten off to the start we intended, that's easy to say.

Your Vanderbilt Commodores are 2-4 after three straight losses to the likes of USC, Virginia, and Seton Hall, but have a chance to snap that losing streak as the Radford Highlanders come to Memorial Gym at 7 PM CT tonight. The game will be televised on the SEC Network and can be streamed on the WatchESPN app. Joe Fisher's radio call is available on the Vanderbilt IMG Sports Network.

In spite of the losing streak, KenPom gives Vanderbilt an 86% chance of winning this game, with a predicted final score of 74-63. Radford enters this game ranked #182 in KenPom (Vanderbilt is 62) and a 3-2 record on the season, but the Highlanders lost to the only top 100 team they've played, an 82-72 loss at Ohio State.

If there's one thing to watch for with Radford, the Highlanders are going to shoot a lot of three-pointers and make quite a few of them; this season, 48.3 percent of their field goal attempts have come from beyond the arc and they've made 39.6 percent of them. On the other hand, Radford doesn't have much inside, with no regular taller than 6'8".
