The SEC announced the Week 6 television schedule on Monday, with the exception of the CBS and evening ESPN games, with CBS exercising its six-day option for those games.
But that obviously doesn’t affect us, because CBS isn’t considering televising this horror show. Vanderbilt’s Week 6 game at Kentucky will kick off at 4:00 PM Eastern time, 3:00 PM Central time, at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington. The game will be televised on the SEC Network and streamed on WatchESPN.
The winner of this year’s game will take the lead in the all-time series, which is currently knotted at 42-42-4. The Commodores won last year’s matchup in Nashville by a score of 21-17, and the Commodores have won four of the last five meetings in the series — though Kentucky prevailed the last time the two teams met in Lexington in 2014.
Kentucky is currently 2-2 on the season, 1-1 in the SEC after beating South Carolina on Saturday. The Wildcats are 35-point underdogs at Alabama this Saturday.
