Polls aren’t worth anything until week 8, but we all love to talk about ‘em anyway. So let’s babble about this for a while on a slow Monday. You know you want to complain about something other than Tammy once again babbling all day on the phone and then crying about all the “work” she has to do.
Random Thoughts:
- How in the hell is Clemson still in the top 10? They’ve looked nothing like a top 10 team, let alone top 5. It’s not like they’ve played anyone of consequence either - Auburn and Troy. Speaking of they struggled to stay ahead of Troy, in part to their WRs doing their best DeSean Jackson impressions.
- Conversely, UGA was rightfully dropped like a stone for struggling to beat Nicholls. Just goes to show you how the preseason polls taint the whole thing.
- Say what you want about the way the Oklahoma State game ended, they had no business being that close to Central Michigan. Ousted from the top 25 is the right place for them, for now.
- I haven’t had a chance to watch the game yet, but I can’t believe double OT to lose to Arkansas was enough to drop TCU completely out from 15.
