Newburgh (IN) OL Bryce Bailey Drops Anchor

Bailey becomes Vanderbilt's second commit on the O-line in as many days.

And now the verbal commitments keep coming in.

Bryce Bailey is a 6'5", 295-pound offensive lineman from Castle High School in Newburgh, Indiana.  Rivals rates him as a three-star recruit, as does 247 Sports' composite rating, which pegs him as the 88th-ranked offensive tackle in the country and the #11 prospect in the state of Indiana.

Vanderbilt projects to have three senior starters on the offensive line this year in Will Holden, Barrett Gouger, and Andrew Jelks (though Jelks could get a sixth year), so it's no surprise that the Commodores are addressing the position on the recruiting trail.

Here is a junior year highlight video of Bailey:

You can see that he's a big guy with good feet, though you can only tell so much from watching him push around smaller players.  Bailey is now Vanderbilt's fourth verbal commitment of the Class of 2017, with all four coming within the last week.
