SB Nation blog Swish Appeal is reporting that Vanderbilt has a new head women's basketball coach:

Officially, White will continue to serve as head coach of the Indiana Fever through the end of the 2016 season.  The WNBA's unusual summer schedule -- the regular season began on May 14 and ends on September 18, with the playoffs potentially running into October -- makes this possible; the Fever's season will likely conclude before preseason practice begins at Vanderbilt.

White spent the previous four seasons as an assistant coach with the Fever before becoming head coach in the 2015 season, in which the Fever went 20-14 in the regular season before losing to Minnesota in the WNBA Finals.  Prior to that, she was an assistant for the WNBA's Chicago Sky, as well as serving stints as an assistant coach at Ball State, Kansas State, and Toledo.

White was Indiana's Miss Basketball in 1995 and played in college at Purdue before a five-year WNBA career.
