The way I see it, Vanderbilt basketball can still make a case to be the nation's No. 2 program. All they need to do is root for Wichita State to make a miraculous run to the NCAA title.
The Commodores' season ended on Tuesday with a 70-50 First Four defeat, but the nation's 64 other top teams will begin their journey to a national championship on Thursday. Our first game kicks off at 11:15 a.m. CST when Duke meets in-state foe UNC-Wilmington. That's followed by a pair of 8/9 matchups in Butler-Texas Tech and Connecticut-Colorado. By the time Iona and Iowa State meet at 1:00 p.m., you'll need four televisions to keep up.
