It’s officially a dead period, but that hasn’t stopped the Vanderbilt Commodores from landing two new commitments today. The latest is Cole Clemens, a 6’5”, 310-pound offensive lineman from South Jordan (UT) Bingham:

Rivals and 247 Sports both have Clemens rated as a three-star recruit, and 247 Sports’ composite ranking considers him the #96 offensive tackle prospect in the Class of 2017, and the #16 prospect in the state of Utah. Clemens chose Vanderbilt over offers from BYU, Utah, and Virginia.
Clemens is the 13th commitment in Vanderbilt’s 2017 recruiting class, and the third offensive line commit following Bryce Bailey and Grant Miller.
