Vanderbilt loses a commitment on Friday as Dutchtown (LA) cornerback Adam Sparks decided to reopen his recruitment. This wasn’t a huge surprise; Sparks had taken official visits to Wake Forest and Missouri in the last two weeks, so claiming that he’s decided to “reopen his recruitment” is actually probably a misnomer, as he’d basically already been reopening his recruitment over the past couple of weeks.
This drops Vanderbilt’s current recruiting class down to 12 commitments, though the Commodores still have a commit at the cornerback position.
