Join the Anchor of Gold bowl pick’em!

Bowl season is nearly upon us, and that means more than two weeks where you won’t be able to turn on your television without stumbling on some form of America’s greatest contribution to the world of sport. Vanderbilt will be there, smack dab in the middle on December 26, to make its return to the postseason for the first time since 2013.

In honor, we’re bringing back the pick’em.

Our bowl pick’em invites you to make picks for all 41 bowls this winter, giving you a little extra incentive to pay attention to matchups like Army-North Texas or Maryland-Boston College. The premise is simple; predict 41 winners and rank them based on how confident you are in your choice. If your team wins, you’ll get points. Whoever finishes with the most points, wins.

As always, we’ll be holding the competition over at SofaChamps, the only pick’em site made by Vanderbilt grads. They’ve got an intuitive and easy-to-use setup which should make filling out your picks easier than ever.

The prize? We’re not sure yet. It’s been some Vandy swag in the past, but it’s also been bragging rights. We’ll see if we can find something cool for you guys.

The picks lock on December 17th before the AFR Celebration Bowl, so make sure you get your prognostication set before Saturday. Hope to see you there.
