The early signing period started on Wednesday, and the Vanderbilt Commodores officially signed two players.

Saben Lee, the point guard from Tempe (AZ) Corona del Sol, committed back in June, and Max Evans, a combo guard from Houston (TX) Bellaire, committed in August. Wednesday was the first day that either could officially sign with Vanderbilt, though.
The third commit in the 2017 class, big man Ejike Obinna, did not sign on Wednesday but as far as we know is expected to sign at some point in the early signing period.
For what it’s worth, the women’s basketball program also signed a pair of players on Wednesday as well:
