So, apparently football players announcing their college decisions on live TV is still a thing in Texas:

Dimitri Moore, a 6’3”, 200-pound linebacker prospect from Cedar Hill, Texas, announced tonight that he will be playing football for Vanderbilt in 2017. Moore chose the Commodores over Colorado, Minnesota, and Kansas State.

Per Rivals, Moore is a three-star prospect and the #28 outside linebacker in the Class of 2017, as well as the #79 prospect in the state of Texas. 247 Sports ranks Moore as the #39 outside linebacker prospect and the #84 prospect in Texas. Moore is the twelfth commitment to date in the Class of 2017, and the second commit at linebacker.

Here is Moore’s junior year highlight video:

Anchor Down, Dimitri. We will be highly disappointed if this does not lead to a string of Dr. Strangelove-themed jokes in the comments section.
