Losing Brandon Adams Sunday evening still hurts, but this staff has no time to waste thinking about what could have been. They will see Adams up close and personal next fall on the field when the Commodores take on the Yellow Jackets. Coach Mason and company have moved quickly on a new prospect, and another is close to making a final decision. Before we get to the latest news, let's first recap what was a busy, snowy weekend around campus.
Several verbal commitments were on campus this past weekend, but one big one was unable to get to campus. Braden Kopp, a three-star recruit out of the state of Texas was unable to make the trip, according to Scout. He will now visit this upcoming weekend.

Andre Mintze, a recent offer from Philadelphia, also had some travel issues this past weekend, but he is currently on campus and I would definitely put him on commit watch until he leaves Nashville.

Kelvin Lucky was on campus this past weekend, and it seems like he truly enjoyed his time in Nashville. He is nearing a decision, and according to 247Sports, his last two "Crystal Ball" predictions have both been the commodores. He tweeted this out during his trip:
Bless me with talent... Talents makes me be who I am. . Thank you for Lord for your power pic.twitter.com/8ffzftO1qX

In Home Visits
When these coaches aren't on campus hosting official visitors, they are out all over the country working to secure commitments, and there is one recruit who they just offered late last night.
Visiting recent commit Jackson Winrow earlier this week was Coach Hankton. Winrow seems to of enjoyed his in-home visit, and appears excited to get to Nashville.

Elijah Hamilton, another verbal commitment recently received by the staff, had his in-home visit with Coach Mason last week. Here's a tweet from his dad's Twitter account that highlights the visit:

Since losing Brandon Adams on Sunday, new DL Coach Ah You has been GRINDING. Last night, he made his way to San Diego to offer a rising 3-star prospect, according to 247Sports. Josiah Sa'o, a DL from Kearny HS, had only one Power 5 offer before last night. He now has two, and appears set to visit campus this weekend :
