Vanderbilt golfers make a big splash on the amateur circuit, a couple of Commodores land at Eastern Illinois, and Tim Corbin gets a $10 million investment - the Periscope.

Not too much news out of Nashville this week, but there are a few solid non-football tidbits out there. The Commodore men's and women's golf squads got some big news, baseball got a $10 million investment, and Eastern Illinois will have a specific black and gold tint to their football team this fall.

Vanderbilt Senior Jennifer Hahn leads the 2015 U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Tournament. Hahn is tied for the lead after day two thanks to a -6 score. Sophomore Cindy Ha is tied for ninth, four strokes behind.
