Hawkins Field is getting an upgrade. Vanderbilt University will pour $10 million into upgrades for the school's successful baseball program, expanding Memorial Gym to meet the left field wall and adding new classrooms, weight areas, and locker room space for Commodore student-athletes. The men's and women's basketball teams will also benefit from the baseball redesign; they'll have access to workout facilities that are more than twice the size of the team's current space once the construction is complete.
