Wiseman Gets $500K+ from Nationals

Mere minutes ago, the dollar value of Rhett Wiseman's deal with the Nationals was revealed, and unlike Pfeifer, who was chosen two slots ahead of him, Wiseman is getting paid full value.

Wiseman will be sent to Class A Short Season Auburn in the New York Penn League, where he will be joined in the outfield by LSU CF Andrew Stevenson and noted character actor Luiz Guzman, apparently.  Mariano Rivera's kid is in the bullpen, too, for those who care about the sons of future Hall of Famer's.  Here's the home page of the Auburn Doubledays... and oh hell, I just got that pun.
