There's nothing more to write about The Mansby or The Florida Flamethrower that hasn't already been said.  However, it is awards season, so get your fill of banquet chicken, boys! With that in mind, I'll just let these tweets speak for me:

Perfect Game Announced their Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year awards, respectively:

Dansby Swanson was also named the nation's top shortstop, winning the Brooks Wallace award:

Carson Fulmer was also named Pitcher of the Year by the College Baseball Hall of Fame:

Rounding out Vandy's day on the award circuit, D1Baseball agrees with BA et al, naming RHP Kyle Wright, 3B Will Toffey, and LF Jeren Kendall Freshmen All Americans:

Finally, in case you missed it, Tyler Beede and Tony Kemp will be playing in the Futures Game during All Star weekend this year.  This is a big deal, especially for Kemp, as it cements him in the field of top MLB prospects according to scouts.  We all knew he would massively overplay his draft position, but concerns over his size dropped him to the 4th round of the 2013 draft.
