Elite Eight OpenThread: Wisconsin/Arizona and Notre Dame/Kentucky

This feels like deja vu; can Wisconsin defeat Arizona and earn a trip to the Final Four for the second straight year? And does Notre Dame have what it takes to beat an undefeated Kentucky team that's still picking bits of West Virginia from their teeth?

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Last year, #2 Wisconsin edged out #1 Arizona in overtime to win the West Regional and punch their ticket to the Final Four. Now, the seeds are flipped and the Wildcats have the opportunity to repay the favor by toppling the Badgers on Saturday night. Can Frank Kaminsky and his team hold serve and give us one more week of Nigel Hayes quotes? Or will Rondae Hollis-Jefferson prove to be too much for the Sconnie defense to handle?

The late game will put Kentucky's quest for perfection on the line against Notre Dame. The Wildcats utterly destroyed West Virginia on Thursday, leading the Irish to marshal their words carefully before tonight's Elite Eight matchup. Notre Dame looked great when they picked apart Wichita State, but they're still a significant underdog against John Calipari's juggernaut.

Here's tonight's two-game schedule:

Game: Tipoff: Network:
(1) WIsconsin vs. (2) Arizona 5:09 CST

(1) Kentucky vs. (3) Notre Dame 7:49 CST TBS
