If Vanderbilt wins, they go to the College World Series Finals. If the Commodores lose, we're back here tomorrow to face Texas again.

You see, ump, the prevailing theory is that Ferris was just the manifestation of Cameron's desires. I've written the whole thing out if you'd like to see it.

Vanderbilt head coach Tim Corbin stands on the brink of school history with a potential trip to the College World Series. For Texas's Augie Garrido - well, this is old hat to him by now. Vanderbilt and Texas will face off on Friday afternoon in a rematch of the 2004 Austin Super Regional. That matchup - Corbin's first postseason appearance at Vandy - ended in an aggregate 25-5 score in a two-game Longhorn rout. The 'Dores will be looking to avenge those losses and send UT home with a big win this evening.
