The NCAA just released the 16 regional sites and the schools attached to them. And. We're. One. Of. Them.
Click this link if you don't believe me.
The SEC got the predicted 5 regional hosts: LSU, Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt.
Other good news: Louisville's a #1, so we won't have to play them in the first weekend, and it's highly unlikely that either of us will be named one of the 8 National seeds, so we're safe from all of that (crosses fingers, knocks wood, fills Jobu's cup with rum).
The complete 64 team field will be released tomorrow at 11:00am CT on ESPNU, so as soon as we know the three other teams in our region, Anchor of Gold will post it. Then, after careful rumination (read: looking up stats and hoping I've actually seen at least one of these teams play this year), I'll post a regional preview.
Again, the take-away here is we're hosting.
Now we know what total bliss is like. Take it away, Mike Myers!
