Unless you live in Mississippi, Saturday is a huge day for college football. Three matchups between top 15 programs will help set the pecking order for the first-ever College Football Playoff at the end of the season. A showdown between Kansas State and TCU could end up determining who from the Big 12 gets in. Arizona State/Notre Dame could determine whether or not an independent team makes it to the four-team tournament once the regular season is done.
In the SEC, Alabama will try to squelch LSU's recent hot streak and the Magnolia State's two biggest programs will get Presbyterian and Tennessee-Martin. Hey, they can't all be winners.
Best Game: #7 Kansas State at #6 TCU. K-State is 12th in the country when it comes to allowing opponents to score on them. TCU is 2nd in the nation when it comes to scoring said points. This will be a good one.
Worst Game: SMU at Tulsa. Two teams with one combined win between them. This is the scoring opposite of the K-State/TCU game.
