College Football Viewing Guide: Week 7

There's no Charleston Southern Q&A preview this week. Please accept the viewing guide for week seven as my penance.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Bad news, everyone. There's no Q&A preview for this week's homecoming game against Charleston Southern. I tried my best to get in contact with a beat writer who covers them for the Post & Courier doesn't have any contact information on the paper's website. So, while I was able to click through to the paper's dedicated pro wrestling section,I was unable to shoot an email or tweet out to the south's foremost Buccaneer football expert. Sorry about that.

What I bring in return is a look at this week's football schedule and where you can find each game. The second week of October doesn't measure up to the first, but there are still some dynamite matchups to watch. Five contests include two teams that are currently ranked in the top 25, one of which could decide who wins the SEC West this fall.

We've got a full day of great football ahead of us on Saturday, starting with Georgia/Missouri at 11am and lasting through USC/Arizona at 9:30pm. Here's the best of the best (and also the worst):

Best matchup: #2 Auburn at #3 Mississippi State. Hoooo boy, there's gonna be some carnage in Starksville, no matter who wins. With a big performance, Dak Prescott could emerge as a Heisman candidate. #9 TCU at #5 Baylor and #3 Ole Miss at #14 Texas A&M should also be awesome.

Worst: Idaho at Georgia Southern. Yes, this is a league game. The best and worst of the Sun Belt all in one convenient location.

Where's Vandy?: At home, broadcast on ESPN3.
