SEC Media Days touched down on Vanderbilt, and the Commodores and their fearless leader James Franklin had plenty to say about the upcoming season. Here are some clips from today's event, courtesy of XOS College Sports, in case you missed all the exciting media action in Hoover, AL.

Here's what you'll get with these clips:

James Franklin avoiding discussing the dismissal of four players earlier this month, and opting instead to focus his energy on the upcoming season. He talks about the 20-20-20 club, not using academics as an excuse for failure, building relationships, and treating this team like his family:

Wesley Johnson, talking about Herb Hand's cooking chops, Franklin's influence, Vanderbilt's seven-win rally to close out 2012, and his ability to play every position on the offensive line:

Jordan Matthews, deflecting praise to his teammates across the receiving corps, calling the Vandy WRs the best in the nation, talking up his new roommate Austyn Carta-Samuels and the adjustment from playing with Jordan Rodgers, James Franklin's infectious personality, and the emergence of Brian Kimbrow. Also, just look at that suit:

Andre Hal, talking about the secondary, the strength of his defense (and dropping some names), Vandy's late-season turnaround, the possibility of James Franklin leaving the program, and matching up against Donte Moncrief at the season opener against Ole Miss:

We'll have more updates as they come.
