Without getting too deep into something you probably aren't going to read anyway, 18th-ranked Vanderbilt travels to Baton Rouge ("Land of the Red Stick" as BrianSWard likes to call it) to take on a struggling but admirably battling despair LSU Tigers basketball team that honestly is just not very good. KenPom has them ranked 205th.

If I'm being honest, Vanderbilt has no business losing to LSU this weekend. That is not to say that LSU can't or won't spring the upset. It could happen. After another epic collapse against the despised Vols, I think this game is ultimately about Vanderbilt getting themselves back on track. Hopefully that's what we see this afternoon.

And The Valley Shook is the SB Nation affiliate for the LSU Tigers. I don't believe they will have a game preview, as I think they've already switched their primary coverage to college baseball. Not that I blame them. You should still "geaux" visit their site.

Tipoff is scheduled for 1247 CT (yes) and the game will be televised by the SEC Network (Comcast ch. 14 or 236 HD), though the game will also be available on ESPN Full Court and ESPN3.com.
