Mississippi looks to get back on track with their first SEC win this season while a win for Vanderbilt would see them back into the thick of the SEC East race at 2-2, tied with Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia.

Schedule Breakdown

Vandy has played a much tougher schedule. Based on their performances to date, Vanderbilt would be the fourth best offensive and best defensive team that Mississippi will have played; Ole Miss will be the fifth best offensive and eleventh best defensive team the Commodores will have played. When combined, Vanderbilt appears to be the best team Ole Miss will have faced.
Statistical Breakdown

The Commodores and Rebels are fairly evenly matched with regards to tempo free statistics. Vanderbilt's starters collectively have stronger statistics while Mississippi's bench appears to be superior. Of course, these numbers have come against a fairly large disparity in strength of schedules.
Four Factors: Mississippi holds the edge in TO% and OReb% while Vandy holds the edge in FTRate. Teams have the same eFG%. Prediction: Vanderbilt wins all four categories tonight. I just have a feeling.
