The bad news and the most amazing part of this story is that in spite of the recruiting buildup that has the Commodores on the verge of a top 10 recruiting class, they are still in the middle of the pack in the SEC. According to the latest Scout.com rankings, Vanderbilt has built the 16th best recruiting class in America. At #16, however the Commodores rank only eighth among SEC programs.
