More bad news for Vanderbilt basketball, as former Wake Forest big man chose a return to his New England roots over coming to Nashville in 2013. Carson DesRosiers, a two-year starter for the Demon Deacons, had strongly considered Vanderbilt both out of high school and after choosing to leave Wake Forest, but ultimately chose Ed Cooley's rebuilding project in Providence instead. It's another tough blow for a Vandy squad that is short on big men for the future. The 'Dores have just three players - Josh Henderson, Shelby Moats, and Rod Odom - that are 6'8" or taller suiting up for the team in 2012-13. Meanwhile, Providence's resurgence continues with the addition of DesRosiers, who will join five star recruits Kris Dunn and Ricky Ledo in the Beehive of Industry.
