I'm of two minds about this. I want to play quality OOC opponents, especially big-name programs like Ohio State, because I think that's a true measuring stick nationally and those are big wins. But in a world where nobody plays more than one meaningful OOC opponent ever, it seems like unilateral disarmament to load up the schedule with anything other than Presbyterian, East Roast Beef and Girl Scout Troop 266.
Where's the correct divide? I don't want to go full-Auburn here, but we only got to bowl eligibility last year by going 4-0 OOC. Can we afford not to schedule down?
