Found a link

Looks pretty solid, even if there are one or two spots of blue over on the sides.

There are a fair number of those fugly jerseys

But they have mostly been relegated to the upper deck and are not seen on the main TV shots.

I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.

Yep

Just saw all the blue on the top level. There’s quite a number of them.

I took some of those classes to fulfill my history requirements for the liberal arts….history of american music, history of jazz. They were very interesting and educational, but not exactly difficult. Music and the fall of segregation sounds similar…interesting, educational, but not exactly difficult.

American Music

Was one of my favorite classes at Vandy…though mainly just because Dr. Love was so passionate about it, and knew a ton of stuff that wasn’t in the book and is less common knowledge. I’ll never listen to anything American the same way.

I'm starting to get anxious

and nervous. I get the feeling that this game will be determined by each team’s attitude in the first 5-10 minutes of the game. We have to come out strong.

I miss Memorial – the feeling during that Tennessee beatdown a few years ago when they had beaten Memphis a few days before. They were #1 for something like 12 hours. One of the most intense games I’ve ever been to.

That, and when the crowd at memorial made Calathes stumble into a backcourt violation to get us the ball as time expired.

We need that feeling.

Shit I’m pumped. And nervous.

Not sure how the kept managing to win every close game they were in. Their defense is absolutely pitiful(Auburn scored 88 on them….wow). I really, really want another shot against them in the SEC Tourney. I think we’re better.

I get so sick of the bench discussion every year...

by Aaron Novick on Feb 11, 2012 8:49 PM EST up reply actions

I think Calipari makes use of sarcasm frequently, so yeah, I think it was a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor.

by vandyjl on Feb 11, 2012 8:51 PM EST up reply actions

That's what Rupp did to have them moved to each end of the court...

I just wish they would stop talking about it. Whatever advantage we have there is similar to whatever advantage Kentucky has at Rupp…it comes from having good teams and good coaching. Bud Walton, on the otherhand, used Satan as a contractor.

by VolnVA on Feb 11, 2012 11:07 PM EST up reply actions

That is the key.

Right now everyone is realizing how good UK is. I think we are good, and we have demonstrated that. We win the games we should and we’ll get in. Get something additional, like UF or a “run” in the SEC tournament, then we have a chance at a good seed (although it would be hard to make a run if we’re #4 and face UK in game 2). If we keep improving, then no matter what seed, I think we have a chance to do something. Our offense is really good when we run it.

by vandyjl on Feb 11, 2012 11:18 PM EST up reply actions

Nope

And there’s a huge cluster of SEC teams at 6-4 and 5-5. If we lose, we’re in serious danger of losing one of those byes in the SECT.
