In another blow for the Tigers, Missouri has ruled quarterback James Franklin out for the game with a left knee sprain. Since Franklin's departure in the first quarter, Missouri has really been struggling to move the ball with replacement Corbin Berkstresser under center.

Missouri's early offensive success leads to two field goals. Unfortunately for the Tigers, QB James Franklin left the game with an injury. A fumble on their next offensive series gave Vanderbilt possession in Missouri territory, flipping field position. PK Carey Spear was able to pin the Tigers on the 1 yard line with a punt, which led to a Missouri safety.
