I'm about to fall asleep waiting for this to start ...
but I’d still punch Mark Fox right in the face if I had the chance right now.
Let the team take care of that one for you
It’s been a while since Vandy really blasted Georgia, but I’ve got a good feeling about today’s game.
And a big win would be nice, because the next six games are all really tough.
Who's gonna have a day for the 'Dores?
I’m feelin Lance having a big day on the boards
6-0 Georgia on ESPN3

This would be a good time for Fes to have a breakout game
Georgia has nobody that can match-up with him size-wise – height or weight.
Flamethrower for JJ!

Perhaps the team like me
Forgot the game started at 4.
I like Tennessee and Vanderbilt. There aren't many like me, and they're probably better off for it.
JJ makes all 3 from the line
Vandy’s first lead at 10-9.

The injury obviously set him back
But yeah, I think he’s had a hard time getting his aggressiveness back on top of everything.

Random channel that was going to have Alabama-MSU just turned to us…so that’s nice.

And now after some weird technical difficulties
It switches to Alabama-MSU.

DJP
Excellent play by DJP switching off on screen to get inside position for the rebound and draw the over-the-back foul after the miss.
I think the announcers are a bit sanguine about our prospects
particularly when we’re struggling against a lousy Georgia team.
by Andrew D. Smith on Jan 14, 2012 4:41 PM EST reply actions
We've had many more drives to the basket recently
We’re getting real inside play, which we had about zero of early in the season.
by Andrew D. Smith on Jan 14, 2012 4:44 PM EST reply actions
Had a UNC fan sitting on my couch.
She asked about why the benches were on the end while they were discussing it on tv. If I were drinking, that would have been a finish your drink moment.
What is going on with the fouls here...
Lots of off-the-ball fouls in a short period.

Anyone else scared about UT?
One big game may be a fluke. Two is worrying because Kentucky appears to be for real.
by Andrew D. Smith on Jan 14, 2012 4:51 PM EST reply actions
Well, I'm always worried because they're a rival
But yeah, that was the worst possible result. If they upset UK or get blown out, hooray. Losing close? Boo.
Getting Stokes was huge for them
They were very thin in the frontcourt before his arrival. Now they look a little more balanced. I think they would be a tournament team if it wasn’t for their early season failures.

Oh yay, it's the Rotnei Clarke rule
Any guard with an unspellable name (Kentavious?) will score 400,000 from 3.
Small freshmen should not be able to score against JT like this
He’s a good defender, but people score way too much on him for him to be the all world shut down defender he is reputed to be.
by Andrew D. Smith on Jan 14, 2012 5:18 PM EST reply actions
He’s too aggressive about helping, so he’s often out of position. He needs to quit it. He generally guards their best scorer, so the people he breaks away to help against are not as dangerous as the people he leaves.
