  • Vanderbilt only has one Thursday-Saturday-Tuesday combination this season. At Bama, vs. Mississippi State, vs. Tennessee. For (at least) the second year in a row, Kentucky does not have this combination (they play A LOT of Tuesday, Saturday). Florida has the trifecta once: vs. South Carolina, vs. Vanderbilt, at Kentucky. I think we got the better end of it than they did. They also play A LOT of Tuesday, Saturday, like Kentucky.
  • Vanderbilt only plays four "early afternoon" games: vs. Auburn to open, at Florida, at Georgia, and at Kentucky. The Commodores have two 4pm (ET) games: vs. Georgia, and at Tennessee. The other ten are evening games.
  • As we already knew, the February 11 matchup with Kentucky at Memorial Gym has been chosen to be the featured "ESPN Game Day" game of the week. Go ahead and mark your calendars. YOU WILL BE GETTING UP EARLY FOR THE MORNING GAMEDAY BROADCAST. There can be no discussion on this fact.

Having taken an extremely brief look at the schedule, I think it is certainly favorable. I've given some very early predictions on how I think it will go (13-3, 8-0 at home, 5-3 on the road). There's probably another loss or two hidden in there, although also potentially another win or two.

I'm interested to see what others think. Share your early predictions below. Where did I get it right? Where might I be wrong? We're only two months away from the start of practice!
