I think the goal
was to have the guy chasing Tony towards second so the 3B runner could run home. But then TK tripped.

The problem is that you kill your run expectancy overmanaging like that. Not to mention what happens when you screw it up.

You can see Westy looking heartbroken when he realized he had been too locked in on the runner to first.
Westy involved in both runs of the game so far.
Perhaps he can make up for the second one with another long ball…?

He’s slicing 90 mph, right-down-the-middle-of-the-plate fastballs directly to the right.

If he’s hitting it to the right, it sounds like he’s not getting around on the ball.
I’m sure he’s aware that he hasn’t been getting on. He may be thinking a little too much when it’s time to pull the trigger.

but lost 5 of them.
