Redshirt sophomore quarterback Charlie Goro will be transferring from Vanderbilt to South Dakota, according to a report in the South Dakota-based Argus Leader. By leaving for a non-FBS school, he'll have the opportunity to play for the Coyotes right away. Goro earned reps in this year's Black and Gold game, but had yet to see time in an official NCAA Football game. Goro's departure leaves six quarterbacks on the roster for the 'Dores. Incumbent starter Larry Smith will battle Jordan Rodgers, John Townsley, Kris Kentera, Josh Grady, and LaFonte Thorogood for the #1 spot next season.
