Earlier tonight I had the pleasure of attending the on campus 2011 National Signing Day ceremony, hosted by Chancellor Nick Zeppos, Vice Chancellor David Williams, Head Coach James Franklin, and, Voice of the Commodores himself, Joe Fisher, not to mention the unsung heroes of the day, the entire football coaching staff (less the strength and conditioning staff who were busy working with the current team). After the Spirit of Gold and VC David Williams warmed the floor, Coach Franklin and The Voice narrated their way through a video package introducing the newly signed recruits including each players highlight reel. Closing remarks were punctuated with a nice cake for Coach Franklin and a rousing chorus of "Happy Birthday" from the crowd.

If this is what he can do with less than 2 months on the job, I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store.
