Each week I shall attempt to use the minuscule variances in the Vanderbilt Commodores Fan Confidence Poll (upper left side main page) to gain some insight into the future outcome of the upcoming Vanderbilt Commodores event. Trust the poll. It's science.

There is a clear positive slope to the trend line this week. The Vandies have been encouraged by the better than expected performance of their football team in battle against budding rival Northwestern. Advantage: Vanderbilt

On the flipside, the LSU collective were less impressed with their Tigers post-UNC than they were in the preseason. This is a striking blow to the LSU football team as they prepare for battle. Advantage: Vanderbilt
