The NCAA Baseball Tournament rolls on, as Vanderbilt, by virtue of a 8-7 13 inning win against Illinois State, earned the chance to face #1 seed Louisville today at 4 pm. The Cardinals, who defeated Saint Louis yesterday 11-2, will send ace Thomas Royse to the mound, while Vandy will counter with Sonny Gray.
The winner will stand just one victory from a Super Regional bid, while the loser will face either Illinois State or Saint Louis in the loser's bracket. We'll have the action here live with both a GameThread and a super fresh writeup live from Louisville after the game.
