"Hopefully his agent's projections of being a late first-round draft pick is accurate and he will have a long and prosperous NBA career," continued Stallings.

I hate to see him go. Hopefully he holds off on hiring an agent just to leave the door open. Either way, I’m hoping for the best for him. He will be missed on campus and on the court.

Well, I sure hope his agent is right too.
I wish he would wait to hire an agent though until he hears from the draft advisory board.
Just checked draft express, they are saying second round. They also have a tweet about him not getting along with Stallings. News to me if it is true.
exact tweet below
Andrew Ogilvy probably shoulda declared after freshman yr. His #s & stock have only regressed since. Heard him & Stallings didn’t get along?

He must not like Stallings because
he took him on an all expense paid trip with the team back to his homeland.
Goodbye, AJ. Best of luck to you. Next!
"And with the 16th pick, the Tennessee Titans select..."
This is not good
I know we discussed our frustration with AJ a few weeks ago, but the reality is that we desperately needed him to provide a reliable post scorer if this team was going to achieve something special next season. Festus is athletic, but he’s still raw. Steve and Andre don’t have much in the way of “back to the basket” games. Maybe one of the new guys? I don’t know…this is depressing. And the Braves just lost. Crap.
This is my biggest concern too
The defense will still be there, but without a reliable scorer inside, JT and JJ will be seeing a lot more quick doubles and more defensive pressure in general. Hopefully Festus can turn up his offense on time…
and stop fouling.
