"If I went this year I think I would be late first round or early second round depending on how I do in workouts," Taylor said. "I put some thought into it. But listening to Coach (Kevin) Stallings and my dad, I feel like it’s a better decision to stay in school and work on my game."
"With Beal leaving and A.J. maybe leaving, a lot of responsibility will fall to my shoulders next year and that really falls into the part where I need to work on my game," Taylor said. "I want to be ready for that."
"I have a lot of people around me who know what they are talking about," Taylor said. "The NBA is something everyone dreams about as a kid. It’s obviously a goal I want to reach. I just don’t feel like I’m ready for it right now. I feel like I need to get bigger. My skills aren’t there yet."
