Excellent! I like progress, and these numbers definitely point in that direction….with the exception of January, but we’ll just pretend he was still in a food coma from too much eating over the holidays.

Just noticed this

Great stuff.

I spoke with Coach Muller (Auburn game, if i recall correctly) and he told me that from that point going forward, Festus would be a 65% free throw shooter over the remainder of the games of the season.

Coach Muller, ftw.

Festus didn't shoot any FT''s in the last few, so he ended the month 7-10

Looking quickly at his stats it is amazing how much he has improved his all around game this year. Right now he has played 340 mins verses 360 mins all of last year. He shooting percentage is basically the same and he has 75 attempts (same as LY), but the other numbers are all vast improvements.

TY
89 rebounds or 0.26 per min
26 turnovers or 0.08 per min
39 blocks or 0.11 per min

LY
74 rebounds or 0.21 per min
43 turnovers or 0.12 per min
22 blocks or 0.06 per min

Now his personal fouls are up from 58 (0.16 per min) to 64 (0.19 per min) but the increase in blocks suggest that the added aggression has paid off.

Amazingly Festus had only one assist last year (can that be right?) but he has two this year! It makes me so happy to see players develop (see Beal, Jermaine). I can’t wait to see how Festus progresses.
