Jenkins +12 despite sucking, Odom -13 despite playing what seemed like impressive defense.
Really interesting figures from this game. Also, good to have you back, Andre.

Question
What do the “after the jump” numbers represent?

Adjusted
Basically, I take the game contributions and divide by the minutes played to get a “plus/minus per minute.” Since I find the per minute number to be difficult to gauge (the difference between the best player and the worst player in a typical win would be a fraction), I multiply it by 40 minutes (the full length of a game) so it’s easier to see what kind of impact a player would have had had he played a full 40 minutes.
Of course, as with the standard plus/minus before the jump, the individual game numbers really don’t tell you as much as the overall season averages.
Brad leads the standard plus/minus and Festus leads the adjusted. This makes sense, as Brad has more time on the floor (especially against inferior opponents) to up his total, while Festus is only averaging about 20 minutes per game. Taking into account the time played, Festus’ impact shows.

It's official
Tennessee sucks. I’m going to go ahead and say that the SEC is going to come down to Vanderbilt and Kentucky. God I hate Kentucky…
