Didn't see Festus during warm ups
Anyone with radio know the story?

It’s free, but you don’t get the dulcet tones of Joe Fisher either.
Updates welcome
I won’t be at my computer, but will be checking here for updates on my phone. Please share early and often!!

Thanks!
Slow start again … interesting …

6-5 now. 12:50 left in first half.
Super slow. Fes already has 2 fouls. SI already has 6 turnovers, though. Good defense. Offense needs to pick it up…lack of flow on both sides.
10-7 VU, halfway through the 1st
This is much slower than I expected … Taylor makes it 12-7 with a dunk as I type that.
Rebounds.
We’re being out-rebounded. I hope this doesn’t become a trend…I’d really like to see some improvement from last year.
Ridiculous moving screen call on S Thunder.
These refs are o-foul crazy.

Now and awful charge on Jeff. These refs won’t let this game speed up

Dear John Jenkins,
Where are you?
Love,
Dore Nation

I just got whistled ...
for charging. Stupid refs.

UAH beating Alabama 28-26 at the half
Tennessee over Indianapolis 40-34 early in the 2nd, Ferris St. (who?) leading Indiana 51-40 with 7:30 left.
Appreciate the Stat King love!
Go Nancy Reagan!!!

USI announcers are in awe of Vandy's defense
“We can’t even get a shot off.”
31-16 at the half, 15-0 run to close it out.
Awesome!
That’s what I like to hear. Fear the gold.

I feel like any time there is an opponent PT:TO ratio of one, you’ve got a pretty good shot.

At the half
VU is being out rebounded, but they got into control with almost everything else late in the first half. Any good observations from someone at Memorial?
Halftime stats?
Scoring, boarding, dimeing?

I'm waiting for Gametracker to catch up...
I couldn’t type fast enough as they were read on the radio.
Looks like Shirts-ville for Henderson
At the very least CKS is trying out life without him. Fes and Steve had 2 fouls for at least the last 8 mins, maybe 10, but no Josh, just 8 minutes of 2 foul Steve. But Steve actually probably played better after he got 2, and he did it without fouling, so props on that.
Still kind of scary seeing both guys in foul trouble.

it'll happen ...
but honestly, we have enough depth at the forward positions to make it work. go small or go with three forwards, and we’ll present matchup problems that counterbalance our lack of size. we need goulbourne and odom to be warriors, though.

21-0 run now, up 37-16
JJ just hit a jumper in transition, and the play before Tins had a steal and a dish to Andre for a big 1 handed alley oop. It was nasty.
by The Goche on Nov 8, 2010 9:14 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Our run ended at 23
They have scored 6 in a row.
by The Goche on Nov 8, 2010 9:20 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Festus hits his free throw, 50-26
Festus hitting 60-65% from the line this year would be a huge boost.
How are Bammer and the Violations doing?
by BrianSWard on Nov 8, 2010 9:37 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Tennessee blew it, 79-65
Bama’s ahead of UAH 54-51 with 3:50 left.
Auburn’s also down to Columbus State 43-37, 7:30 left.
Meanwhile, in the important game
Cleveland State defeats Baldwin-Wallace 68-39
Vandy up 70-35. Goulbourne with a slam! 25 turnovers for USI, and Meriwether, Duffy and Siakam are in.
We’re at the final media timeout.
Smart and Siakam add buckets, 77-40 final
Southern Indiana scores with like 5 seconds left to avoid the doubling up.
Final stats
The good:
Jenkins: 20 points, 5-12, 4-8 3 PT, 6-6 FT
Taylor: 13 points, 5-12, 3-4 FT, 6 rebounds
Walker: 5 points, all from the line, but 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block
Holding USI to 25.4% shooting (1-17 from 3) and forcing 30 turnovers.
The less good:
Fuller had a tough night, no points (0-3, all from 3) in 18 minutes, with 1 assist and 1 TO.
Festus having 3 fouls in 12 minutes.
37.5% shooting overall, 28.6% from outside.
And of course
UT 64, D-II Indianapolis 79 (exh).
Train, I’m sure you are gutted at having missed being able to see them in to the airport on their triumphant return…
