Taylor Stokes to be featured on ESPNU - VANDERBILT OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE
Taylor Stokes came out of Clarksville, Tenn., to become Vanderbilt’s first African-American scholarship football player in 1969. He left Nashville disillusioned and, more importantly, without a degree. Forty years later, with the help of some Vanderbilt faculty and administrators, Taylor had earned the credits he lacked and triumphantly walked across the stage last May with diploma in hand.
The show will air on ESPNU on Tuesday, Dec 29 at 2200 (CT) and again on Thursday, Dec 31 at 1700 (CT).
